Our Impact
We started with one orphanage in 2019 and have continued to build impact with our local and international communities.
Casa De Hogar. An orphanage across the border in Tijuana created for displaced, orphaned, and abandoned children. We hosted an event to help raise funds and in addition, donated over 35 Christmas gifts to the children.
Orange County Rescue Mission. With the help of volunteers going door to door across neighborhoods in Orange County, we were able to donate over 160 lbs. of food to local food banks.
CHOC and CHLA. We hosted Toy Drives in various locations in the county. As a result, we were able to provide over 40 boxes of much needed supplies, brand new toys, and other essential goods to these children’s hospitals.
We worked with several local businesses to gather socks, razors, blankets, and other necessary supply bags to pass along to our vulnerable homeless neighbors in Huntington Beach. Due to the generosity of our partners, we were able to create over 30 bags.
Yemen Humanitarian Crisis. Due to the unforeseen crisis of COVID-19, it brought our world to a standstill and thus creating increasing dangers for many issues around world. As COVID-19 became alarmingly worse, the rate of children without homes, food, and dying of disease skyrocketed. We decided to create a project amidst COVID-19, to let 2020 be dedicated to our neighbors around the world — focusing on the humanitarian crisis in Yemen targeting children. We hosted a Cookies and Cocktails virtual charity event to help raise much needed supplies and funds. Through our virtual evening of festivities, we were able to activate communities around us, donate essential supplies, and raise $10,000 to help the suffering children in Yemen.
CHLA. We hosted a few toy drives in our local communities. With COVID-19, children were lacking supplies in the hospitals and were in dire need of additional support. Through the small toy drives and generous donors, we were able to provide over $500 of essential supplies, new toys, and other goods to the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.
Gifts that Give. Small local businesses have started to sprout all throughout the year in 2020. Many of these local owners have went through hardships and lost their financially stable jobs because of COVID-19 and found passion in creating handmade gifts. We partnered and activated our communities through hosting local small sales to give back to organizations in need. We stood in solidarity against racism for ALL races and donated funding to their causes.
Orange County Rescue Mission. With the help of several volunteers, we were able to donate over 15 boxes of supplies, socks, jackets, shoes, and toys to OC Rescue Mission. We partnered with a local Santa Ana homeless shelter to provide 20 boxes of blankets, socks, clothing, canned goods, and packed lunches for our homeless community. We provided water and much needed hygiene kits to the most vulnerable.

Better Human Spotlight. Our Better Human Spotlight featured a human with a story we wanted to bring to light. Through our Better Human Spotlight, we brought “Orchid & Lily” Empower Gift Box to life. Each box consisted of carefully curated and handcrafted items from socially conscious partners, and with these boxes, we’ve raised over $2,500 to alleviate some of the financial pressures for the family chosen for the Better Human Spotlight.

AVID is a nationwide program that stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination serving 1st generation students and those who are underrepresented, to prepare for college. We’ve raised over $1,500 for the event and towards the students’ yearly fund.
